i just read your artical on weight gain while taking elavil. i have been taking elavil at night and also a zolof in the morning since i lost my mother. i started taken them on february 8,1997 and i have also noticed at least a 15 to 20 lb weight gain. i am due to go and have a phyiscal in the next few weeks.sso i was gonna see if there was any thing that i could take in the place of the elavil? i also use this medication for migraine. i also plan to start an exercise program . thanks bj partin.
